The adapter is a fairly useless bit of kit for a lot of people. Have a look at the previous messages in this thread as this is a fairly common (or variations thereof) issue.

My Surface Pro 3 is fully updated with the latest firmware and updates and the wireless display also has the latest updates.
When I have my bluetooth on and I connect to the wireless display adapter, my TV's max resolution that I can set is 1366 x 768 but when I turn my bluetooth off first and then connect to the wireless display adapter I can set my TV to 1920 x 1080.
It's kind of annoying to have to turn bluetooth off first before I connect to my tv. Is there something I can do to fix this issue?

2016-11-07T07:53:12+00:00 Surface Pro User with Win 10. When I try to connect with Bluetooth on the max resolution is 1366x768 either with the wireless display adapter or projecting directly to a Samsung TV. If I turn off Bluetooth it connects at 1920x1080. When I turn bluetooth on there is some interference with the screen. When I turn on my Sculpt Comfort mouse on the second screen becomes unusable with interference but the resolution stays the same. The wireless adapter has the latest firmware.

2015-12-19T18:33:23+00:00 My SP3 is plugged into a Mediasonic SmartDock Pro HV1-U60D2L with 2 monitors, I had to enlarge my SP3 screen resolution to 150% to get unfuzzy monitor resolution.
Now my P3 screen text is tiny and unusable as a home screen and won't zoom independently.How can I Zoom my SP3 home screen separately from my monitors? or, leave the SP3 home screen at 100% and change the zoom on my monitors independently to improve their resolution?
I can't be the only person with this issue, i suspect its pretty common.

What I'm using:
- Screen mirroring / duplicate for the MWDA;
- A Logitech Bluetooth mouse connected;
- Logitech Bluetooth keyboard connected (which I'm using to write this on now);
When I initially connected the resolution on my Surface stayed at 2160 x 1440 even though the TV can't display that resolution. However it did show the screen in a box so it was obviously scaling it. Changed the resolution down to 1920 x 1080 and the TV screen showed it correctly (although a bit of chopping at top and bottom). Each connection since has connected at 1920 x 1080 and changed the resolution on the Surface to match.
Picture below confirms this.
The only issue I am left with is the dreadful lag that now exists which I didn't have previously (albeit at the wrong resolution).
