Surface Pro 3 High CPU load when idle, high system cpu load

Has anyone else noticed that coming out of sleep or herniate results in unwarranted high cpu load from system interrupts?

I have all the latest firmware and updates loaded. But using sleep even sometimes a cold boot I get this issue.

How can I fix this please. Its killing my battery life.

In order to better assist you, I will need to gather a few more details:

Have you made any changes to the power settings? And if so, what exact changes have you made?
Do you have any startup or background apps running?
Do you have a micro SD card inserted or any accessories and Bluetooth devices connected? If so, please disconnect or remove any external accessories and test it again.
Have you restarted the Surface and then set it to sleep after the restart? If not, please do so as well.
Have you tried resetting the power settings back to the default settings? If you haven't, here is how:

From Desktop, swipe in from the right edge of the screen and open the Charms menu
Select Settings
Select Control Panel
Select Power options
Select Change plan settings
Select Restore default settings for this plan
Select Yes
Restart your Surface

Oh!! I just checked it again as I wanted to make a screenshot and now it's working! I don't know what changed. The only thing I did was that I originally enabled Hyper-V but when it started interfering with my WiFi connectivity I disabled it again, so maybe that's what was necessary.. I used to have constant high "System Interrupts" process running, but disabling one by one I found out that an Adobe startup process was causing it, so I disabled it and it seems to have fixed the issue. Either way, thanks for your responses!

I'm having the already known problem of the "System Interrrupts" proccess consuming high CPU (20%) continuouslly after returning from sleep.

I've read that some people relates this to the wifi drivers, so the first thing I've tried is disabling the wifi adapter (using device manager, disable). But the CPU remained high after doing this.

So, I've tried unpluging my usb hub (I use it for connecting my keyboard and mouse, and sometimes to connect to Ethernet), and the CPU went down.

I don't know if some of you are having the same problems. If so, maybe this post could help you. (Of course, I suppose MS will someday solve this too)

pd. Just to be clear, the CPU went down after unplugin the usb hub. After one minute I pluged it again and the CPU remained down. So this is an aceptable workarround for me.

This is a kind of weird behavior...i don't know if it's related to this topic or not but yesterday my surface pro 3 needed a little charge so I hook the surface to the docking station and start using it. It was weird that it was running cool when it was charging however I stop using it a few minutes before charging 100%...just leave it on the desktop mode. As soon as the battery was charged the fans on the surface began to run without adding any computing load to it. Looks to me that its a kind of setting on the surface that when running charged at 100% and is hooked up to the power cord windows tell the processor to increase speed or something.
