Surface Pro 9 lagging after sleep but only until power supply is conected

Hi,
I have a MS Surface Pro 9 and after waking up from sleep the screen is always sluggish (i.e. the mouse moves aren't fluid). However, as soon as I plug the power supply the lag goes away and is away even when I unplug it.
I've done a diagnostics but couldn't find anything.
Any ideas what could be the root of this problem? I don't have anything ressources intensive that is running.

I have the same issue. However the work around for me was changing what happens when the lid (keyboard) closes. I switched it to go to hibernate rather than sleep. Also switched the power button to hibernate as well. Haven't had an issue yet.

I am experiencing the same issue with my Surface Pro 9 (Core i7). The mouse movement is not smooth until I connect the charger.
Sometimes, when the slim pen is not connected to its charging position on the keyboard, I do not encounter the bothersome issue. However, when I remove the pen, the problem is resolved.I'm really dissatisfied with Microsoft. I can't shut down the device properly every time! This issue persists even though more resource-intensive software is running, and I have disabled almost all startup apps. Moreover, I have the latest update installed.

2024-03-09T00:48:29+00:00 Hello everyone. So I think I found a way to fix it, until a MS patch. You need to go in the settings -> display/screen -> advanced settings, and the change the frame rate to 120Hz or the second option (not 60hz) it's called like "custom, or auto" it seems to work for me and some friends.
