Surface Pro 9 lagging after sleep but only until power supply is conected

Hi,

I have a MS Surface Pro 9 and after waking up from sleep the screen is always sluggish (i.e. the mouse moves aren't fluid). However, as soon as I plug the power supply the lag goes away and is away even when I unplug it.

I've done a diagnostics but couldn't find anything.

Any ideas what could be the root of this problem? I don't have anything ressources intensive that is running.

    I usually have to restart the computer every time but it's annoying when I can't just put it to sleep because I know it will lag. Only the Surface Pro 9 i5 seems to be having this issue since my wife also has the same laptop. I've tried all solutions including drivers and reinstalling software, adjusting mouse settings and files but nothing has worked. I've been waiting for an update on this.

    Download the Intel® Graphics Command Center from the AppStore. In the "Power" tab, disabling the "Panel Self Refresh" worked for me.

    Hello everyone. So I think I found a way to fix it, until a MS patch. You need to go in the settings -> display/screen -> advanced settings, and the change the frame rate to 120Hz or the second option (not 60hz) it's called like "custom, or auto" it seems to work for me and some friends.

    Hi,
    I am experiencing the same issue with my Surface Pro 9 (Core i7). The mouse movement is not smooth until I connect the charger.
    Sometimes, when the slim pen is not connected to its charging position on the keyboard, I do not encounter the bothersome issue. However, when I remove the pen, the problem is resolved.

    I'm really dissatisfied with Microsoft. I can't shut down the device properly every time! This issue persists even though more resource-intensive software is running, and I have disabled almost all startup apps. Moreover, I have the latest update installed.
