Surface Pro 9 lagging after sleep but only until power supply is conected

Hi,

I have a MS Surface Pro 9 and after waking up from sleep the screen is always sluggish (i.e. the mouse moves aren't fluid). However, as soon as I plug the power supply the lag goes away and is away even when I unplug it.

I've done a diagnostics but couldn't find anything.

Any ideas what could be the root of this problem? I don't have anything ressources intensive that is running.

This key combination was extremely helpful for the past few weeks, however it became tedious to type it EVERY TIME my computer came back up from a blank screen. Initially, I was looking at a solution that invoked the key combination using Task Scheduler, but then played with the following settings:
```
Settings -> System -> Display -> (Related Settings) Advanced display -> Choose a refresh rate
```
My refresh rate was "60 Hz" and so I switched it to "Dynamic (60 Hz or 120 Hz)" [see image below]. This resolved the problem, though I suspect there may be an energy-saving setting that I may have disabled which may have been impacting mouse performance. In any case, extremely frustrating for an advanced user, and certainly any lesser-skilled customers, that will experience this issue that definitely affects the usability. Microsoft should definitely investigate this and issue a fix.

Additionally, I've recently noticed an error in the driver that loads for my graphics card on my Surface Pro [screenshot below]. Not sure it's related, but maybe it will help somebody else?

I have a Surface Pro 9 Model 2038 i7 with Windows 11 (Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631).

I have the same issue: laptop lags when I open it after being on sleep. I bought this laptop only a month ago and it has been an issue ever since starting it up. When buying a laptop of this high price I expect it to be working properly so this is very frustrating. Hope this issue gets fixed soon otherwise I will look into returning this laptop.
