Hi,
I have a MS Surface Pro 9 and after waking up from sleep the screen is always sluggish (i.e. the mouse moves aren't fluid). However, as soon as I plug the power supply the lag goes away and is away even when I unplug it.
I've done a diagnostics but couldn't find anything.
Any ideas what could be the root of this problem? I don't have anything ressources intensive that is running.
Thanks,
ioan

I have the same issue, tried updating and everything. But when I plug in the power, problem is solved.
After removing power it returns to be slow, mouse lagging, after a while again.
I'm having the same issue after the last updates. CPU seems to get stuck somehow. Only thing fixs it is by connecting the charger which is pretty annoying tbh. Hope you guys are working on a fix!
I have exactly the same issue for long time and wants me to get rid of my surface pro 9...
Same issue over here! Been trying many ways to fix but no hope! Extremely lag after screen off for just 2 second and it starts to slow down like an old pc. It's my brand new Surface Pro 9 8GB
