Hi,

I have a MS Surface Pro 9 and after waking up from sleep the screen is always sluggish (i.e. the mouse moves aren't fluid). However, as soon as I plug the power supply the lag goes away and is away even when I unplug it.

I've done a diagnostics but couldn't find anything.

Any ideas what could be the root of this problem? I don't have anything ressources intensive that is running.

Thanks,

ioan

So unsure if the update has been released yet, however im still having this issue.

Every time the computer goes to sleep by either pushing the power button, “closing the lid” , or just straight up going to sleep. It has gotten very laggy and very frustrated to the point of me wanting to return the device as it’s causing major issues to my work flow. I bought this device due to how small and compact it is and it has every feature on it.

It has been doing this ever since it came out of the box.

    Specs:

    Intel i7 w/ Integrated Graphics

    32GBs of Ram

    1TB of Storage

Edit: I’ll try the dynamic and see if that helps it and I’ll keep y’all posted.

EDIT2: So I’ve set it to dynamic and it seems to be happy. I’ve put the computer to sleep many different ways and it seems to all come back normal. It seems that the device wants to run 120hz 24/7.
