Surface Pro 9 lagging after sleep but only until power supply is conected

Hi,

I have a MS Surface Pro 9 and after waking up from sleep the screen is always sluggish (i.e. the mouse moves aren't fluid). However, as soon as I plug the power supply the lag goes away and is away even when I unplug it.

I've done a diagnostics but couldn't find anything.

Any ideas what could be the root of this problem? I don't have anything ressources intensive that is running.

    I have the same problem, also I noticed that it happens mostly if some programs were opened before it falls asleep (file explorer, OneNote, or web browser.... doesn't matter what) and after waking up the device quit often it helps to close those programs. In 10 seconds it's getting good and you can start them again and use, until the next sleep session.

    Waiting for the solution and update from Microsoft

    I have the same issue: laptop lags when I open it after being on sleep. I bought this laptop only a month ago and it has been an issue ever since starting it up. When buying a laptop of this high price I expect it to be working properly so this is very frustrating. Hope this issue gets fixed soon otherwise I will look into returning this laptop.
