Unfortunately, my problem still persist after Pen replacement as well.
Surface Pro 4 Pen needs to be re-bluetooth paired after waking up/turning on surface
Hello,
My surface pro 4 pen needs to be re-paired via bluetooth after the computer has been sleeping/hibernating in order for the eraser button to function when clicked. It still shows up as a connected device in the bluetooth settings, and still writes properly even when the eraser button does not work. After removing the pen from the list of connected devices and re-pairing, everything seems to work properly but this is obviously inconvenient. Thanks for any help you can offer!

2017-01-08T14:30:50+00:00 Everything is updated, re-installing Windows did not help. I'm still able to reproduce this issue 100% of the time.

2017-01-19T09:12:21+00:00 Is that normal in Microsoft to sell a product with a software problem regarding one of its key features and don't do anything about it for over a month when reported by multiple people? I'm sorry, but I'm really getting frustrated about the quality of your technical support. "This issue is still being investigated" doesn't even confirm that anybody from the dev team is actively looking at this. Please give us a proper update regarding the issue.

2017-01-19T12:11:54+00:00 The most recent firmware update did not solve my issue. How disappointing... At this point I can only assume that Microsoft isn't taking any of our feedback seriously since all communication with the Microsoft representation on this post has ceased and we haven't been provided an update on the issue despite being told that we would. I originally asked this question nearly 3 months ago and there has been essentially zero progress since then. Very disappointed in Microsoft for not listening to customer feedback when the core functionality of their flagship device is broken for so many people.
