Surface Pro 4 Pen needs to be re-bluetooth paired after waking up/turning on surface

Hello,

My surface pro 4 pen needs to be re-paired via bluetooth after the computer has been sleeping/hibernating in order for the eraser button to function when clicked.  It still shows up as a connected device in the bluetooth settings, and still writes properly even when the eraser button does not work.  After removing the pen from the list of connected devices and re-pairing, everything seems to work properly but this is obviously inconvenient. Thanks for any help you can offer!

I’ve been told that Microsoft has not been able to get a repro in their labs. If one of you can consistently repro this issue, I was advised that the best path is to visit a Microsoft Retail Store and work with a technician there. The stores are supposed to have a system that lets them gather details on customer issues and send those details back to engineering. (Don’t know how long this takes)****.

    Seriously...

Didn't Microsoft get bigger by making software?

and they do not know how to fix this simple software issue?

    I do not understand.

It is very frustrating to be a surface owner.

How do you guys expect us, customers, to recommend Microsoft products to our friends and family?

I have exactly the same issue with my new Surface pro 4 (m3) purchased on 27.12.2016. My 30 days return period will expire soon and if MS still cannot solve this problem, I may consider a refund then.
