Hello,
My surface pro 4 pen needs to be re-paired via bluetooth after the computer has been sleeping/hibernating in order for the eraser button to function when clicked. It still shows up as a connected device in the bluetooth settings, and still writes properly even when the eraser button does not work. After removing the pen from the list of connected devices and re-pairing, everything seems to work properly but this is obviously inconvenient. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Has there been any update to this?? I'm experiencing this to. My Pen doesn't appear to work (even though shows connected) but then eventually starts working later. Its really annoying.
Just to add: I'm experiencing the exact same issue with a brand new Surface Pro 4. After waking the device from sleep I have to re-pair the pen via bluetooth, otherwise the buttons don't work. All the drivers and Windows are up-to-date. No troubleshooting steps helped.
Thank you very much. What is the minimum waiting time for this?
