my control key is broken

    Hi, is there anybody happen to this issue? My control key is broken after 10 months. I am a developer, I seldom use mouse, I often use the keyboard, like ctrl+arrow, ctrl+tab, ctrl+F4, ctrl+W, ctrl+alt+L, ctrl+shift+E, and so on. It's about more then 500 times I click the control key each day.

    China ms has changed a new keyboard for me last year, and the control key is broken again after 10 months. And the refuse change it again for me.

That's np, the real problem is even they change a new one for me, the control key will be broken again after 10 months.

    I guess the keyboard material is not good enough for me to click it more then 500 times each day.

    Surface book is really a good product, I really hope it will be perfect, I like surface book II, too.

    My left CTRL Key is also broken since a while now:

    Fixated it with tape :-(

    I have the same issue.  It has happened on two Surface books for us so far.

    This is definitely a design issue-

    see attached. My latptop is around 1.75 years old.

    First a scratch appeared around 3 months ago and it eventually it fully cracked. 

    They are asking $600 +taxes for out of warranty replacement. The replacement will not be a new laptop but a micro soft certified  laptop.

    It still astounds me that nobody from the Microsoft Surface team has acknowledge this as an issue, and they are still suggesting a that sending a refurbishes unit for $600

    Why cant they just send the replacement key which would cost leas than a dollar?

    Maybe they thibk its acceptable to have this sort of issue with an high end laptop. Surely not
