By folded, I mean that the laptop is closed while running and that the screen heat could then damage the keyboard.

Hi, is there anybody happen to this issue? My control key is broken after 10 months. I am a developer, I seldom use mouse, I often use the keyboard, like ctrl+arrow, ctrl+tab, ctrl+F4, ctrl+W, ctrl+alt+L, ctrl+shift+E, and so on. It's about more then 500 times I click the control key each day.
China ms has changed a new keyboard for me last year, and the control key is broken again after 10 months. And the refuse change it again for me.
That's np, the real problem is even they change a new one for me, the control key will be broken again after 10 months.
I guess the keyboard material is not good enough for me to click it more then 500 times each day.
Surface book is really a good product, I really hope it will be perfect, I like surface book II, too.

My new Surface Book has the Ctrl key who start to crack since I let the computer work while folded.
I wonder if the heat produced by the main unit (screen) could affect the keyboard which is just close to that heat source when folded.
Do you keep your Surface Book running when folded?

2018-10-26T15:37:11+00:00 I am on my second broken Ctrl key!! The first time it was under warranty and they replaced the entire keyboard!! Now, I can't find replacement keys anywhere. Perhaps they need to figure out why this key keeps breaking!!
