Can anyone pls share any insight into e-sim absence in AT&T Surface Duo?

Is it hardware limitation or software block(i.e. AT&T Image blocking e-sim capability similar to Samsung phones?)

Thanks!

    Hi Mindseye73,

Surface Duo has a physical Nano SIM. AT&T Surface Duo devices locked SKU will have eSIM disabled while the Open market (Unlocked) SKU will support Dual SIM single available (physical SIM and eSIM) – so only one SIM for calls, texts, data can be active at one time.

    Thank you
