If your profile picture is your Microsoft account picture, chances are that you are signed in with your Microsoft account. But the main way of knowing is if you remembered. But in your case, most likely you are on a local account. I suggest you try contacting Microsoft support to see what they can do
Locked out of Surface Studio 2
I am totally locked out of my Surface Studio 2. It is asking me for my pin. I have forgotten it and have no way of resetting it because it now is telling me that I tried to many times. What can I do?

2024-12-16T11:57:56+00:00 Initial screen says:
"You've entered an incorrect PIN several times.
To try again, enter A1B2C3 below"
When that is done, it just asks for the PIN again
Other sign in options give face (which goes back to the incorrect PIN message) or the symbol for the number keypad
There is no "I forgot my PIN" option.
Not sure where the "I forgot my PIN" option appears.

There should be a button named "I forgot my PIN" which will make you sign in with your Microsoft Account.
Hope this helped,
Thanks
