Surface pro 3 Brightness control missing

Again the same old issue. After the last windows update (version 1903 build 18362. 239) i cant adjust the screen brightness ( is set in 100% and it is draining the battery).

This is the second time an Windows actualization creates this issue.

Does anyone have a clue how to fix it this time?

This website helped me A LOT and it fixed the brightness issue. Yayyy!!!! Seriously though, try it. It worked!!!!

Cannot move the slider. I'm having the exact same problem. Have removed and updated drivers multiple times.

This is total horse hockey Microsoft. It's clearly a bug that many are experiencing. Now on Windows 10 Pro 2004 and it still does not work.

I won't be buying another Microsoft device again.
