Surface pro 7 login says "Couldn't turn on the camera, please sign in with your pin"

This worked for me. Access settings on your device, then click on "system". Then click "get help" on right side of screen. Automated assistant will pop up. Enter "Windows Hello Camera" in search box. It should provide an option for "Windows Hello Camera issue". Select this option and it should reset your camera returning it to normal.

I did the same thing. My new one does the same thing.

Same exact issue. Have tried the Microsoft help feature. The issue is still occurring occasionally. Reboots only help for a short time. Very irritating issue always having to restart the tablet because my camera light is on inappropriately and then will not work for applications.

Same here. I also get green screen of dearh when starting certain video apps.

• 1.Press and hold the power button until the screen turns off (about 10 seconds), then release the power button.
• 2.Press and release the power button to turn your Surface back on. You should see the Microsoft logo.

Just bought this surface pro and set up, there is no switch camera button found at all. Please advice. I am using zoom meeting and cannot see me and the video button does not  show. The error message said please check your driver. At another help button, I deleted one camera on my device manager. Nothing is working. Please advice.
