Surface Book 3 Randomly Freezing

I navigated through tech support and finally got a real person.  He took control of the computer remotely and did diagnostics, downloads, restarts, etc.  The laptop worked better after, but still had random freezing/slowness.  They called back after a week or so and decided that it must be a hardware issue, they sent a new one that I received yesterday.  So at least you can take that route if you want to spend some time.  Now I have to transfer files and download software...

I have the same thing. It also likes to stttttttttttttttttart ignoring keypresses and key releases around the same time, so I will end up missing letters or typing a ton of the same lettttttttttttttttttter as has happened here twice. Worse is when it gets stuck on baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaackspace and deletes my typing, without letting me stop it. It happens more frequently with external keyboards but still does with the base one. The keyboard thing only happens when the whole thing has fits though. External USB mice rarely work for more than a few seconds before totally ceasing to function, however running a fullscreen video game which uses the nVidia GPU allows for perfect use. I never noticed any of the screen problems when in my video games either, and I have played for several (10-20) hours since purchasing the machine. My theory is that this is related to Intel drivers crapping out, but I don't really know. Using browsers other than edge seems to aggravate it for me, but it's pretty random. A couple days, I have had no issues. Some days, I get it every few minutes. The screen blackness occurs most often, and it is thankfully the best problem to have as moving my mouse fixes it, occasionally an alt+tab being required instead.

There is a known circuit issue when both usb ports and bluetooth turned on. I just turn off bluetooth and everythings is fine
