Surface Book 3 Randomly Freezing

As im working on my new $3500 Surface Book 3 i can't help but be extremely annoyed because the screen/mouse just randomly freeze, usually for about 5-10 seconds then its back to normal. Sometimes it will freeze and i have to hit the power button and that seems to unfreeze it. Very annoying, not to mention the screen dimming and getting bright on its own even though the option for it to do that is turned off.

2020-10-01T22:16:46+00:00 I navigated through tech support and finally got a real person. He took control of the computer remotely and did diagnostics, downloads, restarts, etc. The laptop worked better after, but still had random freezing/slowness. They called back after a week or so and decided that it must be a hardware issue, they sent a new one that I received yesterday. So at least you can take that route if you want to spend some time. Now I have to transfer files and download software...

Freezes constantly, mainly when moving windows from one screen to another, but happens at other times as well.
Please fix, getting harder to use it.

2020-09-23T12:05:31+00:00 I've been using one version of Surface or another for several years, and am generally very happy with them.
However, lately, my always-updated Surface Book keeps doing three things:
- The cursor just stops working. The touchscreen will continue to work, but unless I detach the screen from the body, the cursor will stay frozen.
- The volume will suddenly disappear. Unless I do a restart of the whole thing, the volume will stay off.
- For the last week, and several times a day, the screen will suddenly become unresponsive to keyboard, touch screen, everything. The only way I can get it to work again, is attempt to shut it down entirely, and even that is hit and miss.
My entire livelihood depends on this thing working, and I'm about to pull my hair out. I've got several workshops coming up at which I have to be performing at a very professional level, and I don't trust this machine right now.
