Does anyone still have the CalibG4.exe touch screen dead zone hotfix file for the Surface Pro 3 they could share with me? I've seen posts to the Sony support website where you used to be able to download it from, but it no longer seems active. So I've no idea how to obtain it.

EDIT:

Found it. It says Windows 8, but I used it on my Windows 10 and worked like a charm.

If this link ever dies in the future, let me know (jestercat at out) because I'm going to save the file.

Would you be able to provide a valid link to this file?

I downloaded these files from self-serve Center but when executing the address, they will not resolve  nor will the Sony site  resolve either effective now.

    This worked for me!

if you get the " msvcr100.dll " error like i did, go here :

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26999&irgwc=1&OCID=AID681541\_aff\_7794\_312327&tduid=(ir\_\_kugc9txiqwkfrzl0xkpoxiopbn2xherkd1kc66qt00)(7794)(312327)()(06-3589464-11-0000000)&irclickid=\_kugc9txiqwkfrzl0xkpoxiopbn2xherkd1kc66qt00

there are 3 files, im not sure which one is needed so just tick all of them.

    If that link dies, it's

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update

    from the microsoft download centre

This worked great, thanks ! I was getting ready to get a new Surface !!!

I'm not sure why Microsoft removed the Hot fix from their website, this is shady at best. They wrote down the Hot Fix is no longer available for download because it is part of a Windows update. That's simply not true, I'm running the latest and greatest of Windows 10 and the issue clearly wasn't fixed.

The "calibration" utility from the Sony website worked like a charm, hard to believe but true.

    Thanks again.
