Surface Laptop # Bluetooth drops out intermittently

I have a Surface Laptop 3 and im using the Microsoft ARC Mouse and Microsoft Designer Keyboard

The Bluetooth connection to both these devices drops out intermittenly for around 10 seconds

When it reconnects the Bluetooth icon appears in the icon tray 

This happens a few times an hour and is very frustrating.

I have tried reinstalling all the bluetooth drivers which has not helped.

I have also tried this solution offered to another user whoch hasnt helped either.

                 While the mouse and keyboard is connected/paired, open Device Manager

Expand Human Interface Devices

Double-click on Bluetooth Low Energy GATT compliant HID device, select Power Management tab above. Uncheck the box for "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" then click OK. If you have multiple Bluetooth Low Energy GATT driver, please do this on all of them.

Restart Surface

Are their any other solutions?

    Hi,

    I even tried taking a driver dump and debug myself. I dont think the MSFT helpdesk can do much help here (no offence). I also heard returning hardware is out the questions.

    So come up with your own setup to either use Bluetooth or usb. Or you can even get away with usb/wireless accessories by using multicast mouse.

    Sorry but this solution does not work either. In de Surface laptop 3 zit geen intel Bluetooth.

    In my surface laptop 3 sita a Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Bluetooth driver.

    My Arc Mouse stil has the same problem. [MICROSOFT nice Mouse, as it works, € 80,00 voor something that does not work, is far to much]

    My Surface Laptop 3 is also Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Bluetooth.  

    Driver updates are also not supported, and the signal continues to drop repeatedly.

    Shouldn't we have a recall?

    I am having the same issue on a Surface Pro 7 using the Microsoft Precision Mouse and the Surface Dial.  Both drop out and the only solution is to restart.
