I have a Surface Laptop 3 and im using the Microsoft ARC Mouse and Microsoft Designer Keyboard
The Bluetooth connection to both these devices drops out intermittenly for around 10 seconds
When it reconnects the Bluetooth icon appears in the icon tray
This happens a few times an hour and is very frustrating.
I have tried reinstalling all the bluetooth drivers which has not helped.
I have also tried this solution offered to another user whoch hasnt helped either.
While the mouse and keyboard is connected/paired, open Device Manager
Expand Human Interface Devices
Double-click on Bluetooth Low Energy GATT compliant HID device, select Power Management tab above. Uncheck the box for "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" then click OK. If you have multiple Bluetooth Low Energy GATT driver, please do this on all of them.
Restart Surface
Are their any other solutions?

I am also having the same issue, my Surface Laptop 3 intermittently disconnects bluetooth head phones and mouse at random times. I have spoken with customer support but they have not been able to resolve the issue remotely. Has anyone found a solution to this issue?
This is very frustrating considering that it is an elementary task that cannot be performed by such an expensive laptop. Please advise.
I am having the same issues. This is not machine dependent. We need a fix Microsoft.
Update on Connected Device Issues:
I started using a microsoft wireless mouse with a usb receiver plugged into the port on the laptop, still issues.
I also have been using the laptop's usb-c port to charge my phone while I'm stuck at home. Once the phone gets charged to about 87% I constantly hear the disconnection/reconnection sounds, suggesting there is an unstable connection at that port as well. The phone still charges to 100%, but with that sound constantly going. I know I can mute my computer and I sometimes do, but when I'm in zoom meetings that isn't an option. It should just work.
I hope there is an update fix being worked on. All the problems I have been seeing other people have with their Surfaces, it's disappointing. I have been a loyal Microsoft customer since the Pro, haven't had any major issues with any machines, but this is issue upon issue and I'm considering taking my business elsewhere.

Why have we not received any communication from Microsoft on the issue?!?!?!
My wife and I have the same Surface Laptop 3 machines (15" AMD etc)... and we both have this issue, so it is not a machine specific problem.
