Hello,
Today installed Windows Update a new Driver (NVIDIA - Display - 31.0.15.3713)
Now on is the Surface Studio 2+ integrated life-cam is not working properly in the MS Camera App or the Hello Biometric App. In each case the view is rotated 90 degrees from landscape into vertical.

Hi Marius,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.
I understand that you are experiencing issues with the camera on your Surface Studio 2+ after installing a new driver update.
Try these solutions to fix any issues you might be having with the camera(s) on your Surface. For example, it may be missing drivers or require a restart. It also may be that your privacy settings don't allow camera access for some apps, or there's a problem with the app you want to use.
Remember to back up any important data before making changes to your system. I hope one of these solutions helps resolve the camera issue on your Surface Studio 2+.
Your Sincerely

Hello,
Thank you. Unfortunately, the three steps don't help.
I even tried a Recovy Image. Unfortunately, the error persists as soon as the driver is updated via Windows Update. And that happens straight away.

Hi Marius,
When you roll back this driver update or uninstall it, will it be able to return to normal? Until Windows update automatically updates this driver. ****
If this is the case, you can try the wushowhide.diagcab, which is used to temporarily prevent specific Windows updates or driver updates from reinstalling.
Where do you download wushowhide.diagcab - Microsoft Community
The selected updates will not appear in Windows Update. Please note that when a new version of this update is released, it will still be downloaded and installed automatically. If the update you want to hide is already installed, you need to remove it in Settings > Windows Update > Update History > Uninstall Updates before hiding it.
I hope this helps. If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Your Sincerely

Hello,
Thany you. Now the old driver is active again.
Is Microsoft taking care internally of a compatible NVIDIA driver for the Surface Studio 2+?
