Bluetooth Mouse lag

Recently bought the Surface Pro 128GB.

Having been annoyed by the temperament of the touchpad, I bought a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse.

What I've found is that, when copying data over a network, the bluetooth mouse begins to lag.

Using the touchpad/pen is unaffected.

Makes me wonder whether the Wireless NIC and Bluetooth Module are using the same bus and/or whether this is a known issue.

I have the same problem: basically, whenever WLAN connection is being used to transfer any data, such as downloading anything or even opening a youtube video, a bluetooth mouse starts lagging horribly, making it absolutely impossible to use. I am using a Rapoo 6080 mouse, which, despite having "poo" in its name, is a pretty decent device that has been working perfectly with a few different computers until I tried to link it to my Surface Pro today.

    Greetings all,

Do you experience this issue on the Windows 8.1 preview? Also, is your WiFi on 5GHz or 2.4GHz?

    hi

I'm getting the same problem with MS Wedge mouse  on Surface Pro 128GB but not even copying or moving large files. Have WiFi on to connect to my office's network and internet.

Hope there is a result soon as the trackpad on the keyboard cover is useless.

I have the same issue, i've tested this using two bluetooth mouses, Razer Orochi and Apple Magic Mouse, booth work fine when the Surface Pro is not consume a background process, like loading a video on youtube, or consume a lot processor or memory or video processor, but when this happens, bluetooth mouse have A LOT LAG. Razer Orochi offer wired and wireless(bluetooth) use, when i'm use this mouse wired, this issue not happen, when I use via blueooth this happens every time who surface need more processing.

I've this issue in W8 and now with W8.1 preview.

I Believe this is a bug in bluetooth driver or a hardware problem with bluetooth on Surface Pro.
