Bluetooth Mouse lag

Recently bought the Surface Pro 128GB.

Having been annoyed by the temperament of the touchpad, I bought a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse.

What I've found is that, when copying data over a network, the bluetooth mouse begins to lag.

Using the touchpad/pen is unaffected.

Makes me wonder whether the Wireless NIC and Bluetooth Module are using the same bus and/or whether this is a known issue.

I have similar issue on a HP ENVY 360 2017 with 8550U Processor and Windows 10 (ssd disks).

it works for about 15 seconds and then stops for 3 , and again . I thought it was cell phone interaction, but happens also if it away.

    Any idea?

Can you send a picture of the place where the bluetooth parameter is?

    Thanks a lot.

    Mauricio.

After considerable research I have no doubt at all that the problem is connected to the concurrent use of a local network!

I have 4 large networked drives attached to my router and when I am doing ANY work on those my mouse becomes psychotic!! Leaping around all over the screen.

I have tried many/several of the so-called fixes around the Web but NONE of them work!

I believe it has something to do with IRQ addresses or interrupts but at 80-years young my technical prowess is somewhat tardy now!!

To be honest most of those that imply "fixed" seem to have a level of technical 'fixing' that is well beyond mine these days although you may understand them?

I have sent questions to Microsoft and to Lenovo (my PC) and neither have suggested a fix?

In fact BOTH suggested that I "Rebuild a completely clean Windows 10 system!"

    Are they MAD!!!

In essence their suggestion was a euphemism for "We've got no idea either!!"

Sooooo.... sadly.... using the 'clues' above... I can only suggest you keep on searching for understandable and practical solutions!

If I need to use my Bluetooth mouse while using my large networks then I plug in a decent USB mouse and use that until I have finished with the networked drives! Well it IS a solution!

    Good luck
