Bluetooth Mouse lag

Recently bought the Surface Pro 128GB.

Having been annoyed by the temperament of the touchpad, I bought a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse.

What I've found is that, when copying data over a network, the bluetooth mouse begins to lag.

Using the touchpad/pen is unaffected.

Makes me wonder whether the Wireless NIC and Bluetooth Module are using the same bus and/or whether this is a known issue.

Yes....I think it's safe to assume we have both installed all required Windows updates and as I stated before, this is with ANY sizeable data transfer over the wireless. I have tried both G & N networks with the same results.

    Greetings,

Thanks for following up. How many programs or apps (Windows Store) are open when this happens or are you able to do it without any running. Also, do you have the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard center installed on the Surface?

No Programs or Apps are running when this happens, other than Explorer

This is reproducible whether the keyboard/mouse center is installed or not.

I can confirm exactly what Bryan has said to be true in my case as well. This issue occurs with literally zero apps open.
