This worked!!!! thanks so much. Yes remove phone paired via bluetooth to the surface!
Bluetooth Mouse lag
Recently bought the Surface Pro 128GB.
Having been annoyed by the temperament of the touchpad, I bought a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse.
What I've found is that, when copying data over a network, the bluetooth mouse begins to lag.
Using the touchpad/pen is unaffected.
Makes me wonder whether the Wireless NIC and Bluetooth Module are using the same bus and/or whether this is a known issue.

2014-08-14T14:58:26+00:00 I also seem to have this issue. Just bought a Wedge Touch mouse this week and with wifi turned on, the mouse lags quite a bit. Any fixes I have found on this and other sites did not help. My Surface RT is fully up-to-date.
I couldn't try the proposed solution from this thread as the Surface RT does not have the "Bluetooth Collaboration" option.

Appreciate your input on this. Would be helpful to hear back from you once your further testings will have taken place.
Has anyone else had the chance to tinker after yesterday's update?
