Recently bought the Surface Pro 128GB.
Having been annoyed by the temperament of the touchpad, I bought a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse.
What I've found is that, when copying data over a network, the bluetooth mouse begins to lag.
Using the touchpad/pen is unaffected.
Makes me wonder whether the Wireless NIC and Bluetooth Module are using the same bus and/or whether this is a known issue.

Bluetooth and WLAN are using the same bandwidth... Thats an old problem. Just choose an other channel which does not overlap with bluetooth.

That is not an option for me. It would take me far too long to set my Surface back up after a refresh than I care to invest in this. Also, I am pretty positive this is not a software related issue. As rintaun stated, his works just fine on a 5.0GHz network, which tells me the shared 2.4GHz bus/antenna for the G network and Bluetooth is most likely the culprit. This can probably only be addressed by a firmware or hardware fix. Perhaps BChriscoli can attempt the refresh and report back, but I think for most people, that would be a large inconvenience.

I have a similar problem - I connected my newly purchased wedge keyboard/mouse via bluetooth, and things were fine. Then when I connected my Logitech H800 Bluetooth headset (making a total of 3 Bluetooth devices), things started going south. First, the H800 headset doesn't function correctly - separate problem. But when I attached the headset, the wedge mouse lagged horribly!! The wedge keyboard is fine, touchpad is fine. Again, huge inconvenience!
Am trying to scour forums for the H800 Bluetooth headset problem. Who said early adoption is all fun :)

This will not be an option for me as this is my work machine.
I am happy however to go into a Microsoft Store to demonstrate and re-create on one of their machines.

I would like you to try something. Can you Refresh your Surface, take all of the Windows Updates but do not install any Desktop or Windows Store apps. Once you have all Windows Updates, transfer files via WiFi while using your Bluetooth mouse, and see if the issue persists.
