In that case, please try to contact your host device manufacturer to ensure that it has its updated drivers and firmware. Also, make sure that its Windows is updated.
Teams button does not bring up Teams App
The Teams button on my Surface Headphones 2+ does not open Teams app or bring the Teams windows to front. I tried connecting the headphone with the included USB and blue tooth. Also downloaded the Surface App and updated the firmware. Below is a screenshot of the app.

2022-12-08T03:26:06+00:00 Thanks for keeping me posted, ChongK1RK.
If I may ask, what make and model the host device is? In that case, it would be better if we could test your headphones to another device and see if it works or not.

2022-12-07T16:17:54+00:00 Hello,
I tried the manual factory reset and the factory reset through surface app. I reconnected to the USB Link after each factory reset and it did not resolve the problem.
I tried resetting the firmware in your instruction, but it did not reset the firmware. I know this because I can see in the Surface App that my headphones are updated with newest firmware.
Is there anything else I can try?
Best,
Chong

2022-12-07T02:54:13+00:00 Hello ChongK1RK,
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community. I'm sorry to hear about this issue on your headphones. Definitely, not the experience we want you to have.
In this case, I'd highly suggest resetting your headphones to its factory settings. Use the power button
- Press and hold the power button (#1 in the diagram below) for 20 seconds until you hear that your headphones have been reset to the factory defaults.
Use the Surface app
- On a Windows 10/11 PC: Open the Surface app, then select Surface Headphones > Device information. Under Factory reset, select Reset now, and then select Reset now to confirm.
Otherwise, you can also try resetting its firmware:
- Plug the USB cable into your Windows 10/11 PC or into a USB power adapter (not included) for a wall outlet.
- Press and hold the power button on your headphones.
- While still holding down the power button, connect the USB-C end to your headphones.
- Release the power button.
Let me know how it goes. I'll wait for your response.
Regards,
StevenK
