I own a Surface 2 and am wanting to know if RT devices will be getting the free upgrade to Windows 10?

Can anyone confirm (or otherwise) whether W10 will be available for Surface devices?
And, if so, how do we go about reserving it? There isn't any Windows icon on the right of my task bar.........

Not for devices that run the RT version of Windows like Surface RT and Surface 2.
There may be some W10 features available for these devices if you believe some of the third party tech sites. But not the full Windows 10.
If you have a Surface 2 and not a Surface Pro 2, then Windows 10 is NOT
available.

no they are not. there was a recent "upgrade" that added a Windows 10 like start
menu if you wanted that (you have to go in and enable it) but there will be NO
Windows 10 upgrade for RT.

Hi James,
Yes, I would think it extremely odd when Microsoft issues Windows 10 for the Pi2, with the pi1 selling about as much as the Surface RT & 2 over the course of time but ofcourse now the pi2 is far outnumbered by actual Microsoft made products ( the RT and 2 arm tablets ).
I am familiar enough with many tech news sites employing clickbait headlines and interpretations of things but it is very disappointing to have Microsoft take this distant stance towards its own oftentimes loyal customers. It's about time they employ some more people who's job it is to take the world's view of Microsoft in and helps Microsoft respond better to it.
