Unfortunately I think it is the surface pro 7
Surface Pro 7 randomly freezes while using the Zoom app
Brand new surface pro for about 2 weeks and I've experienced some random freezes while using the Zoom teaching app. For some reason, each time this happens the audio continues to work but nothing on the surface screen or keyboard is responsive and I'm forced to shutdown and restart each time. Support recommended that I run a recovery tool but that didn't do anything to fix my problem. Does this sound like more of a Zoom problem or a surface problem?
Anyone else have a similar issue and fixed it?

2021-03-08T08:08:03+00:00 i got similar prob.
Happens when im using Zoom function "Annotate" . The screen will black out when i tried to erase the markings i made with the drawing. Then it will revert back to the zoom screen which the drawings will still be there but cant be erased. Changing the adaptive brightness doesnt help. Updating display drivers neither. To think that this is my first surface pro is going to be my last is upsetting.

2021-02-08T16:45:38+00:00 I couldn't agree more. There is something clearly wrong with this model which Microsoft refuses to admit. I've gone back to my old Surface 4 with half the specs of my surface 7 and Zoom works perfectly.
