Anyone else have this issue? It is so frustrating and I know the wifi is fine because my phone and my old macbook have never had issues with the Wifi but this happens to my Surface almost everyday. Thanks in advance.

My top of the line Surface Laptop 3 with all updates installed is eating dust on the shelf. I got to replace it twice, all the machines had the same problem and did not sustain wifi connection.

    This is hopeless.

Snap! Mine is tucked away in my desk.

I am using my Surface X Pro as main device now will external monitor etc. And guess what, Teams calls are rock solid for the last 2 months.

This response from Microsoft is dismissive nonsense. Typical of big tech support offices. It's now 2021 and I have ALL the updates applied to my machine and IT STILL DROPS THE WIFI CONNECTION several times a day. When this happens, the adapter can't detect any Wi-Fi networks at all (although there are several active in the area). I have to reboot the laptop and suddenly every thing is OK again....but just for a while!

    Hi,

    Totally agree!.

I have the 15" AMD version, and thought I had resolved the issue with the solution posted on here previously, change the router settings, but the problem has come back again. So I have purchased a Netgear USB wifi adapter.

I have noticed that my speeds have gone up by about 30% (Using the speedtest website) and so far have not had any issues with Teams calls being dropped.

Just a shame need to use a 3rd party piece of hardware to get a £1600 laptop to work properly
