Thanks for the quick reply. I've spent 2-3 hrs on the phone to MS support, and they couldn't fix it. They've left me with a recommendation to hard wipe my surfacebook, which I haven't bothered with yet as it didn't work for you, and seems pretty clearly to be a problem with the dock itself. Annoying as it seems to have been something which was messed up by MS themselves with an update.
Surface Dock USB ports not working - Dock Updater repeatedly fails
I have Surface book 13.5, and Surface Dock. USB ports on the dock are not working.
Running Surface Dock updater says I need to power cycle the dock, although I already did it several times.
Event viewer reports error code 12105, with message: "Failed to update USB hub firmware."

2018-02-19T14:53:26+00:00 Nop. Microsoft support has been pretty rubbish with this. Their latest reply was to send me to a phone number which I had to wait for 2 or 3 hours to be attended, only to tell me that there are no Microsoft stores in the UK and because of this they cannot solve my issue.
I'm deeply unsatisfied with my Surface experience so far and will be considering this experience when buying any more Microsoft products.

2018-01-10T10:37:51+00:00 I live in the UK. As far as I know, there's no retail store here. What should I do then?
