I have a user that has been using a Surface Book with dock for about a month. Thursday of last week, the user reported that the keyboard/mouse (wireless logitech) stopped working. When I unplugged and plugged in the USB receiver, it would start to work.
However it only worked for about a day, then it would stop working again. So far the only way to get the keyboard/mouse to work is to plug it into the Surface Book directly. I took the Surface Book home over the weekend and could not find anything wrong. I
then came in this morning and ran the MS Dock Update Utility which seems to have issues (as a lot of people are reporting), when I logged out, the user reported that the keyboard/mouse stopped working on the login screen. Again, I plugged it directly into
the Surface Book and it is currently working but for how long. I am temped to replace the dock since I have a spare, but after reading some of these post I am reluctant. I wish MS would read these posts and actually do something other than let us post over
and over and not get any support other than to take the whole thing to a MS store, or if you do not have one, to call in. MS can you please fix this issue?
