Hi,
Anyone has the same issue as me?
When I change brightness with keyboard it does change to 30-50% only (no visible change).
When changing in side swipe, with touch it allows me to change 0%-100% (no visible change)
I tried with nigh mode off... no change
Tried windows setting ... no change
Ambient light On/Off... no change
Can anyone help?

Thank you, this worked for me too. Though, I had a slightly different problem in that the brightness slider actually disappeared from the display settings. There was also no check box for 'change brightness automatically when lighting changes.' It was just gone. Also, the slider in the system tray was completely grayed out. Everything looks good now after uninstalling the driver and restarting.
I have this problem too! did you figure out how to fix it?!?!?
I followed all these steps and restarted but once it came back on, it was only brighter and I still couldn't change the brightness settings.
