Surface Pro 7 Front Camera Not Working

I'm not sure when it started, since I hadn't used the front camera on the device at all, but today I noticed in the Device manager that the "Surface Camera Front" has an error:

This device cannot start. (Code 10) STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE.

Sure enough, upon opening the camera app, it acts as though I only have the back camera installed.  I am predictably unable to bring up the front camera.

Is there possibly a driver issue, or is this a hardware flaw?

**Edit**: Problem persists through reboots, disable/reenable, troubleshooter, etc.  Notably, I realized the front camera worked for at least the first hour that I had the device, since it shows you the camera feed when setting up Windows Hello.

    This worked for me and my SP4 running 20H2 update. iv been working IT for the better part of a decade and spent days trying to figure this out. I tried every reset you can do but nothing solved it. of course though it was just an issue with another driver that you would never know about.

    COPY-PASTE:

    I've just delete the first "Intel Control Logic" in "System Devices" and checked to delete also the driver !

    Then restart and voila !

    I have 2 SP7 in my office and on both I cant fix the problem with this solution. The Cams just say "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" or some other error that is shown in the Windows 10 Camera App. I tried all solutions you can find on this thread and on other threads out there but the cameras are still not working. I can get to the point, were no errors are shown in the device manager (By using the older driver for the camera) and in the camera app, but then den camera had just a black screen (Front and rear). On our other Surface devices (SP6) I can fix the problem with the quoted solution after secounds but on SP7 nothings help :/ Is there any other thing I can try? My boss is not happy about this problem, luckily he is using an SP6...

    I, too, have SP7 and none of these solutions work for me.  Interestingly, the "Hello" log in feature seems to still recognize me from when it was first set up, but the front facing camera won't work for anything else.  The rear cam works fine, but that doesn't help for virtual meetings.....

    I would love Microsoft to step up to this and provide the right files and instruction to wipe out and reload the camera drivers...I feel like the camera must actually be ok, just a problem communicating with it from software packages. But, I'm just "the boss" who is mucho UN-happy about it but don't have staff to spend dozens of hours searching for and trying solutions...

    I'm also stuck with this with our first Surface Pro 7 at work.

    The previous fix worked... for a day. The next day the driver re-updated and ceased working

    Now that same fix doesn't work anymore. According to the Device Manager everything is fine, no more Code 10.

    However camera stream is black.
