We are aware that customers using Surface Pro X were having issues using the built-in cameras and we have resolved this issue with a driver update.   Please go to Windows Update to install the new driver named Microsoft Corporation – System Hardware Update – 5/26/2023.

The problem was actually reported on 5/22/23 on another thread, but the MS "solution" was unhelpful. I noticed it on that date, too. I've tried all the troubleshooting, rolled back the latest Windows update, disabled/enabled, and nothing has worked.

I used Zoom on 5/21/23 successfully, so the problem probably started sometime after 5:30pm PST time for me.

I'm hoping we will get a reply from MS soon.
