Error code 0xA00F4271<MediaCaptureFailedEvent> (0x80004005).
I've run trough the Get Help App on my device but after following all the steps camera is still not running.
Any help?

We are aware that customers using Surface Pro X were having issues using the built-in cameras and we have resolved this issue with a driver update. Please go to Windows Update to install the new driver named Microsoft Corporation – System Hardware Update – 5/26/2023.

And to people suffering from the same issue, manually setting the date on the device to a month ago temporarily fixed it for me. All cameras work fine if the device date is set to April 2023. Some apps that required the actual time do not work properly though. I hope MS come up with something quickly.

Thank you! As everyone else here, my Pro X started doing this yesterday (May 23rd). It worked fine the night before. What a silly issue. Unfortunately I tried doing a system restore first (before finding this thread), and that failed oddly enough, so having to do a reinstall after all... d'oh!

My camera stopped working so the facial recognition didn't work. So on logging in I entered the incorrect pin. Now it's asking for a challenge phrase, which I don't remember. I could live without the camera, I just want to be able to log in and access my apps. Anyone know how to get past the challenge phrase questions?
