We are aware that customers using Surface Pro X were having issues using the built-in cameras and we have resolved this issue with a driver update.   Please go to Windows Update to install the new driver named Microsoft Corporation – System Hardware Update – 5/26/2023.

Others have said to reset the Date to April but if doing that, it also stopps you from a LOT of things and signs you out of a LOT of Websites just to have the Camera to work.

Most of us that have our Surface Pro X are Now OUT OF WARRENTEE!!!!!!

Microsoft NEEDS to FIX the Driver Problem especially since there is NO Driver Download for the Cameras at least for those of us who are OUT OF WARENTEE with Our Devices.

Some of Us have went the route of doing a Hard Reset and loosing Data and some have reset the date to April but have also run into Problems by doing that as well as for some who had either wanted to get their device repaired or replaced as well as for those who wanted to or did purchase an external camera just to be able to have a Working Camera on their Tablet.

Some or most of us might have a second device to use the camera on it, but Why should We be Forced to that just because of a Bug in the MICROSOFT Camera Driver?

If You Reset Your Date and Whatever Problems that You have then I would say Document Everything and make a Complaint to Microsoft to get Microsoft to FIX the BUGGY Camera Driver ASAP!!!

Copy and Paste and Share This Information with Everyone on ALL of Your Social Media sites to put Microsoft on Blast for this Problem.
