Surface Duo 2 - issues with LDAC

Wow - seems like the Surface Duo 2 really struggles with LDAC (on Bluetooth) at the moment.

Just tried listening with my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones, and the music is so stuttery as to be unlistenable. Had to kick it down from LDAC to AAC.

This is a particular shame as the original Surface Duo did not have issues with LDAC. I'm hopeful a future update will resolve this...

    I came here for the same reason. What I found is that using the WF-1000XM4 (ear buds) is they are working fine in my office with the phone open or closed. When I use these on a NYC street, the connection is poor, audio continually drops out, choppy; tied phone open and closed.

    Switch to an iphone and the WF-1000XM4 work fine. Also work with a Pixel 5 and Note 20. The fact it works in my home without an issue, maybe it is the bluetooth in the phone and not the codec.

    The December firmware update did fix the issue for me.
