I am having the same trouble with the Surface Pro LTE. What is the process of getting the tablet replaced?
Screen flicker and ghosting
My surface pro 4 developed a horizontal line across the top of the screen, and then ghsot windows appeared of closed boxes during use, to the extent where the screen became unreadable and a restart was needed.
My device warranty expired in April, and i understand that MS doesn't do anything except replace the device if there's an issue, so my question is, without a warranty, what is there to do? I can't believe that after a year, a device that costs as much as a top-end laptop, brakes and has to be thrown away.
Anyone had any similar issues and found solutions?
HELP!!
Thanks

2018-05-24T15:04:44+00:00 The guy I spoke to was much more positive. He said it was a batch problem and that he guaranteed that the replacement would not have the issue. Fingers crossed
Anyhow as my machine was out of warranty it has to be worth giving a new machine a go. Not everyone with a Surface Pro 4 has this issue. I have a friend who bought his at the same time as me who has never had the problem

2017-06-27T05:43:16+00:00 I have the exact same problem but mine is only six months old. The issue has gotten progessively worse and now the ghosting happens within an hour of operating and becomes usable. The problem is that I'm 8 weeks into a 12 month trip in Africa (currently in Ethiopia) and was using it for blogging, photo-back up and video editing, none of which I can now do.
I'd previously contacted Microsoft who instructed me to delete and redownload the display drivers from a specific link but this didn't work. So now my £1700 machine I bought in December last year is almost useless.
I really need to get this sorted as that money was a large chunk of my travel budget. I appreciate that a public forum isn't an ideal way to get this solved so if you could contact me via email, that would be great.

2017-06-21T20:20:59+00:00 The same issue has developed on BOTH of my surface Pro 4's since the last major update. One is out of warranty one is still under warranty. Both I need for my business so I'm in the same tough spot as you. I can't believe this is a coincidence.
