Camera is sideways!

I'm running windows 11 and my camera is rotated I reinstalled windows no luck. multiple technicians tried to help. camera is fine in zoom but doesn't work when runing the camera app that came with windows 10 tried to update but it just doesn't work HELP everytime a tech person tries to help they are booted out of remote view when they try to see the camera issue. I've spent hours with tech support only to be disconnected.

Kindly try the following steps below.

Run Surface Diagnostic Toolkit and ensure that Windows is up to date.

Reset camera app in Settings.

Click Start -> Settings -> Apps -> Apps & features. Locate the Camera app in the list of apps and select the Advanced options link. Under Camera app click Reset button under reset section to revert the camera app to its default settings.

Uninstall and reinstall driver.

Open Device Manager >> Expand System devices >Right-click on Intel Camera IR and select Uninstall.

Note: If prompted with a checkbox stating, "Delete the driver software for this device", leave it uncheck then hit Uninstall.

After uninstalling, restart your Surface then check if problem persist.

Uninstall NVIDIA graphics driver and restart your Surface.

Open Device Manager > Locate your NVIDIA graphics driver, then right click and select Uninstall device.

Note: If prompted with a checkbox stating, "Delete the driver software for this device", leave it uncheck then hit Uninstall. After uninstalling, restart your Surface then check if problem persist. I discovered the answer in the article Surface Studio 2 Lifecam rotated 90 degrees in Camera App and Hello - Microsoft Community. Suggested by a community member. Let's give it a shot and let's see how it goes.

If the last suggestion to solve the issue was successful, the graphics driver malfunction is probably the cause.
