The title says it all, I updated the wifi driver to "Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. – Net – 15.68.17013.110", and after that update, I can't connect to a 5GHz wifi connection, I can only connect to 2.4 GHz. when i try to connect to the 5GHz, it says: "Unable to connect to this network". Uninstalling the wifi driver, and restarting the device did help me get the 5GHz connection back to my Surface book, but when i decided to try to install the same driver again, and try to connect to 5GHz again, the same "Unable to connect to this network" appears. Does anyone have this issue?

2019-08-07T23:49:37+00:00 I have a similar problem on my surface GO. Sometimes the wifi takes awhile to connect, when I first bootup the OS. Also the bluetooth mouse sometimes acts not as responsive. Please Microsoft fix your updates.

2019-08-08T00:29:45+00:00 What really frustrates me is that this component was (I believe) made bespoke for Microsoft by Marvell specifically for the surface device lineup. How is it therefore that Microsoft/Marvell can fail so consistently and completely !?! Every update is the same, something breaks. I could understand if it were some other device, Microsoft is expected to support many legacy devices made by many other OEM's, but it's own devices ?? Apple seems to be able to keep it's users happy with devices that 'just work', sure they are only making drivers and firmware for a limited set of components, but in this case Microsoft is in the same position, it only has to make a stuff 'just work' for a limited product line over which they have total control !

i can confirm this Problem with a Laptop 2 and Ubiquiti AC-Pro (4.0.21.9965) other Access Points like a AVM FritzBox 7590 have no issues. I used the workaround and with the old driver is working fine.

bugs that were filed in the Feedback Hub clearly showing broken connectivity.
Many people are mentioning commercial grade/mesh AP's like Amplify, Unify,
Ubiquiti, Watchguard.
