Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. – Net – 15.68.17013.110 WiFi driver breaks 5GHz connection on the Surface Book (1st Gen i5 with dGPU 256 GB)

The title says it all, I updated the wifi driver to "Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. – Net – 15.68.17013.110", and after that update, I can't connect to a 5GHz wifi connection, I can only connect to 2.4 GHz. when i try to connect to the 5GHz, it says: "Unable to connect to this network". Uninstalling the wifi driver, and restarting the device did help me get the 5GHz connection back to my Surface book, but when i decided to try to install the same driver again, and try to connect to 5GHz again, the same "Unable to connect to this network" appears. Does anyone have this issue?

    It didn't work. What it seems to work is the option to Roll Back Driver. Sorted

    Same problem on many Surface Books. We cant't access our accesspoints for a fex weeks.

    Solution: Selling the stuff and order from other manufacters with better support.

    1. download file
    2. unpack it by any supported unpacker, such as 7zip
    3. update driver by selecting "Have a disk" during driver update in device manager

    PS you need to be an expert to do it, everything at your own risk :)

    Hello,

    Same problem with the network driver here to. All upload streams (WLAN normal 2.4ghz) were EXTREMELY slow! I even had problems sending text e-mails!

    I have the Surface Pro ( Surface_Pro_1796) with Win 10

    Returned to 15.68.9125.57 - solved all problems.
