Unfortunately, I didn’t like the way the Fold 4 functions versus the Surface Duo 2. The SD2 is literally exactly what I wanted and needed from a portable device, but I can’t use it as well as I can a cheaper, older phone like my iPhone 11. After some more research it looks like the SD2 just does not work for streaming audio through hearing aids, even though my five year old iPhone is. I can at least buy the Oticon Clip and that should make it work, but that’s another $175.
It’s frankly disappointing that one of the largest companies on the planet skimped out so heavily on such a fundamental technology like Bluetooth to the point that people with hearing disabilities can’t use a $1,200 device to its fullest without buying a secondary device for a further $175.
