Thanks for your response. I was thinking the same thing, especially after I wasted hours out of my day going back and forth with various Microsoft "Support" departments just to get the runaround. They all lie and contradict each other, it's very poor business practice/ethics for such a large corporation like Microsoft. But I'm not surprised, I've dealt with similar issues with Google and others before as well. These corporations think they can just get away with it but enough is enough!
I am seriously interested in proceeding with a Class Action Lawsuit against Microsoft and have begun researching it. Would you like to be the main representative? I would definitely be a witness to multiple issues regarding my Surface Device that dozens of others have experienced with no feasible solution. There are countless threads regarding all over the web and I would be happy to post on all of them to get the word out if we proceed. We, as consumers, do not have to deal with this at all. Corporations depend on us to keep them afloat. I have a couple of lawyer clients I can reach out to see if any of them handle these kinds of lawsuits or point me in the right direction. Based on what I've researched, it's best to have 1 main representative, a list of witnesses who experienced the same issue/loss/damages, and best to file with only one law firm rather than multiple.
Let me know, we can exchange contact information and communicate outside of this thread before we get flagged or removed.
