Plugged in, not charging and if I unplug that AC adapter, it turns off

I have a Surface Pro that is a little over 2 years old. About two weeks ago, the battery now reports "Plugged in, not charging" and seems stuck at 60%. I say seemed because if I unplug that AC adapter, it dies instantly. It also will die periodically while on the charger. I have two Microsoft AC adapters and neither of them seem to charge my device.

I've tried all the Microsoft suggestions for this state, but none of them made any difference. Is there a way to diagnose if this is a hardware problem, or is this a new artifact from the latest updates? (My device reports it is up to date.) I never had any battery issues before (lucky, I suppose), and I've treated my surface pretty carefully. I'll be more than disappointed if it's crapped out already.

I'll attach a battery report, but I don't think it tells me anything in particular.

    I agree 100%.  I will not buy another piece of Microsoft hardware, or recommend Microsoft hardware to my clients until Microsoft admits to and fixes the SP3 battery issue or replaces the device free with a non SP3 device.

    I have a client SP3 that we paid almost $2000 with all accessories.  It is now a pretty mouse pad.  Microsoft had made me look like a fool for the last time.

    Plus, speaking of Windows Phones.  Remember them?  I have just about replaced all client Microsoft phones with Samsung's.  In fact, I am due for an upgrade with AT&T.  I will be replacing my Windows 10 phone with a new Samsung.  Just getting ready, for when Microsoft screws me and my clients.

    Agreed MS simply doesnt care, as a last ditch effort i even reached out to bill gates from a reddit AMA. As expected i didnt even get a reply...

    I went to the store where i bought mine too and they didnt help either, i just got my surface's screen cracked a tiny bit from the side that can barely be seen. And they said if only the screen or the surface wasnt damaged they could've taken it and sent it over. 

    We have to do something, probably write a big  complain. I don't think it'll help by us discusing and **** about Microsoft here.

    I agree, I was really excited by the Surface, now I will never touch another piece of Surface/MS Hardware.

    I have the same issue as everyone else.

    LGC Battery, Plugged in - not charging. 

    If I remove the power adapter it instantly powers off.

    There is obviously an issue with the hardware, they just won't acknowledge it.

    Very dissapointing
