Welcome aboard! I have had this issue since 7/2016. Good Luck!
Plugged in, not charging and if I unplug that AC adapter, it turns off
I have a Surface Pro that is a little over 2 years old. About two weeks ago, the battery now reports "Plugged in, not charging" and seems stuck at 60%. I say seemed because if I unplug that AC adapter, it dies instantly. It also will die periodically while on the charger. I have two Microsoft AC adapters and neither of them seem to charge my device.
I've tried all the Microsoft suggestions for this state, but none of them made any difference. Is there a way to diagnose if this is a hardware problem, or is this a new artifact from the latest updates? (My device reports it is up to date.) I never had any battery issues before (lucky, I suppose), and I've treated my surface pretty carefully. I'll be more than disappointed if it's crapped out already.
I'll attach a battery report, but I don't think it tells me anything in particular.

2017-03-09T14:03:45+00:00 Tiero I know you are the Forum Moderator and I don't mean to unload on you, but this isn't an inconvenience this is gross negligence on the part of Microsoft. To allow this to fester this long without resolution or any response from Microsoft is beyond words. This makes by blood boil on how unresponsive Microsoft has been on this issue. I cannot use this device. It will not turn on without it being plugged in. It is unusable... UNACCEPTABLE!

2017-03-09T14:02:02+00:00 You realize this thread is literally full of people with surfaces that have battery issues due to firmware. Why are you suddenly taking one random comment (out of hundreds) and expressing will to address it? What about the rest of us?
