Surface 3 LTE has no internet on HSPA+ network

Actually the title says it all. I have a Surface 3 LTE which connects to the internet just fine! I'm using Vodafone on the Netherlands.

However, at some point I see that I have no internet. The indicator still shows I am connected. And it takes forever for the computer to come to the conclusion that there is a network to connect to (HSPA+) but there is no internet on it. After disconnecting if I want to reconnect I have to enter an APN of which I am pretty sure I have already done that!

A reboot fixes the issue. Then the tablet sees the LTE band/network again and I am happy internetting again.

Any thoughts?

    I'm still very curious to know if people using a Samsung TabPro S with LTE have similar experience. I asked around on the Dutch Samsung community, but didn't really get an answer.

    Selective suspend doesn't fix it :( nor is it a work around. Had to work today and on my way home I had to fiddle around with LTE again. And again: disconnecting did work, but trying to reconnect resulted in the message I needed an APN and bla blabla...

    I hope Samsung has their stuff better arranged! And otherwise I may be switching to Android for my tablet/convertible as well.

    Hi Plantje,

    Of course selective suspend is not the culprit, nor is the solution a fix, merely a work-around, disabeling other functionalty (in this case selective suspend). Something of which you seem to need rather a lot these days with a microsoft machine. Ever tried getting all lockscreens (3: at boot, at wake and at display back from off) and all loginscreens (again 3, same as lockscreen) to be gone forever? A new machine with a lot less issues is also what I am waiting for. Still I'm happy for this workaround for now and happy you are too :-) 

    You can refresh the adapter? Awesome, automating a refresh the moment the adpater goes to HSPA+ for me is too complex. But I am writing a script to refresh it faster. 

    Will let you know if it finishes, at the moment I'm trying to figure out which services are connected to broadband. Furthermore: definitely new machine.
