EXACT SAME experience. Purchased in 2017....replaced for same issue in 2019.....now in 2021, same issue with the replacement. ARRGGHHH!!
Yellow tint on Surface Book Screen
I have a really noticeable yellow tint stain on all sides of my Surface Book. I spent well over 3 grand roughly a year or two ago on this "State of the Art" machine and now this? I need this fixed - how do I get this resolved? If its past the time limits you still need to fix this issue, I have seen too many posts on this now and it seems like faulty equipment - not something we should have to have already on this machine we invested so much into!!

2021-05-03T21:56:57+00:00 Piling on here - exact same issue that just took a while longer to emerge. Shameful that Msft didn't immediately recall all these
Sur-feces or even notify customers about this well documented and proven design flaw, Not surprising though from a bad faith company like Msft.
I thought I was doing something wrong till I reported frequent shut downs to my IT folks and they classified my ticket under "expanding battery". Turns out ALL the many thousands of these SB2's we bought eventually had the same problem. My non-Msft replacement is on the way and I hope we're able to get some resolution from Msft though I highly doubt we will.

2021-05-24T06:38:36+00:00 My Surface Book 2 developed the yellow blemish issue, just as my SB1 did before. On my SB2 it appeared just after the warranty expired and despite making references to the volume of complaints for the same issue online and the recognition of a product fault they refuse to do anything other than make me pay £500 to repair it.
This issue is enough to make me never want Microsoft hardware, I have owned every generation of Surface product from the start and feel pretty let down by them.

2021-05-24T17:09:01+00:00 Initially I was sent another SB2 - I think my IT dept got refurb replacements from Msft and said they "need to get rid of them". THIS one wouldn't recognize external monitors at all (another common issue with Surfaces), and when IT investigated they couldn't figure it out so told me they're in the process of returning ALL remaining Surfaces and would send me a Dell. Quite a relief to fire up the Dell and find EVERYTHING works as it should. What a contrast to the Surface....
